Virtual PLC Training Environment

Our digital setup is designed to simulate the real-world conditions and tools used in industrial automation and control systems. It allows users to learn and practice PLC programming and related skills without needing physical hardware, making it a cost-effective, accessible, and flexible solution for training purpose

Benefits of a Virtual PLC Training Environment

Cost-Effective

Eliminate the need for expensive hardware setups. Our virtual PLCs and Factory I/O services provide a practical alternative, offering the same hands-on experience at a fraction of the cost. Ideal for classrooms, training facilities, and organizations.

Safe Learning Environment

Students can safely learn and practice PLC programming without exposure to physical electrical systems, minimizing risks. This controlled virtual environment mirrors real-world scenarios while prioritizing safety, making it ideal for beginners.

Flexible Access

Scalable for Classrooms and Teams

Unlike traditional setups where PLCs are only available in the classroom, our virtual platform allows students to connect from anywhere. With access to a network of virtual machines, students can practice at home or on the go, removing the barriers of location and time.

Scalable for Classrooms and Teams

Whether you’re training a small group or managing a full classroom, our platform scales seamlessly to meet your needs. The infrastructure is designed for collaborative learning, enabling effective teamwork and participation.

Realistic Industrial Experience

Scalable for Classrooms and Teams

Realistic Industrial Experience

Students gain hands-on experience with Rockwell programming in a simulated industrial environment using Studio 5000 and Factory I/O. The platform bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.

Time Efficiency

Scalable for Classrooms and Teams

Realistic Industrial Experience

Spend less time setting up and more time learning. Our platform is designed for ease of access, utilizing ZeroTier VPN to ensure secure, private networks while keeping setups simple for students and instructors.

Who Can Benefit from a Virtual PLC Training Environment?

Students and Educational Institutions

Students and educational institutions can access safer, hands-on learning without the risks of physical electrical systems. With remote access, students can practice from anywhere, extending learning beyond the classroom, while teachers monitor and assist live for a more interactive experience.

Training Centers and Corporations

Training centers and corporations save on hardware costs while providing realistic, scalable training for teams. Employees gain practical skills with industrial-grade simulations tailored to meet specific organizational needs

Professionals and Hobbyists

Professionals and hobbyists enjoy flexible learning at their own pace, exploring advanced techniques without risking equipment damage, all while staying competitive in the automation field.

Key Features of a Virtual PLC Training Environment:

Simulation of Real-World Scenarios

  •  Provides a virtual interface for interacting with simulated machines and industrial processes, allowing users to practice tasks like:
  • Writing and testing PLC programs.
  • Troubleshooting automation systems.
  • Configuring control systems for specific applications.

Access to Industry-Standard Software

 Includes tools like:

  • Rockwell Automation Studio 5000/RSLogix for programming Allen-Bradley PLCs.
  • Factory IO for 3D simulation of industrial systems (e.g., conveyors, motors, sensors).

Virtual Machines (VMs)

  •  Users connect to preconfigured virtual machines hosting all necessary software tools, eliminating the need for local installations.

Remote Access

  •  Often accessed via Windows Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) and VPNs like ZeroTier, allowing users to work from anywhere. .

Hands-On Learning

  •  Users interact with virtual PLCs, simulate process control, and test their programs on virtualized hardware, closely mimicking real-world conditions.

Flexible for Individuals and Groups

Suitable for single users (students, hobbyists, professionals) as well as classrooms or corporate training programs.  affordable price.

No Need for Expensive Hardware

  •  Removes the need for costly physical PLCs, industrial devices, or machinery, making it ideal for schools and training centers

Step-by-Step Process for Accessing the Training Environment

1. User Onboarding

3. Joining the Network

2. Install ZeroTier

Getting started is simple and personalized. Begin by reaching out via email to let us know you're interested. We'll respond with a user agreement to review and sign. Once we receive the signed agreement, you'll be provided with everything you need to access the network, ensuring a seamless setup process.

2. Install ZeroTier

3. Joining the Network

2. Install ZeroTier

Downloading and installing ZeroTier is quick and straightforward. No registration is required—just download, install, and you're ready to connect. ZeroTier ensures a private and secure network setup, making it easy to link with our virtual machines

3. Joining the Network

3. Joining the Network

3. Joining the Network

After installation, we’ll provide a unique network ID that connects your system to our private network. This step ensures your training environment is isolated and secure, giving you peace of mind as you focus on learning.

4. Granting Access

Dedicated or Shared Environment

3. Joining the Network

We approve every connection manually to maintain security and privacy. Once approved, your system becomes part of our controlled virtual machine network, with a leader VM available to guide the setup if needed.

5. Credentials and Login

Dedicated or Shared Environment

Dedicated or Shared Environment

You'll receive a dedicated IP address, username, and password to log into the virtual environment. Simply use Windows Remote Desktop (RDP) to connect to the provided IP, save it as "PLC Trainer" on your desktop for easy access, and securely store your credentials for future logins.

Dedicated or Shared Environment
